Arrow 300SDL CCU noise???

Lately when my CCU engages, a loud growling, moaning noise has been coming from my passenger side panel. It will slowly die down if I push "0", which makes me think its something with the CCU. Any ideas?

Thanks for ALL help and ideas!

Blower motor has bad bearings? Maybe aspirator motor?

Sounds like your blower motor is failing.

Is this a common problem? How do I prevent damage or repair?

Thank You!

Yep, you can remove the motor and spray some oil on the shaft to try and buy yourself some time. I did and gained like 6 months. Or just replace it, they are not to expensive I think I got a new one for like $110.

Exclamation

Is it possible something is brushing up against or lodged in the motor underneath the dash? The mechanic said it's possible, since he didn't really know what he was doing I guess. So is it worth taking the dash off to see or is it more than likely a failing motor?

What's the worst that can happen from the blower motor failing while driving???

Thanks again for all replys!
