Make sure to bring an hour glass, I think a G tech would freak if you don't get to 60 by 20 seconds or so.

From my experience, NA diesels also need a little driving technique. Rather than flooring it, try partial pedal until you find that sweet spot for torque. Once you get used to this, I believe you will find that acceleration is much improved.

Yes! My modifications have cut my 240D's stock acceleration time in half!

What gearing is on that car? You might want to try a 55mph era (3.47) gearing.

Takes me about 1 mile unless I'm going down hill, This was my first mercedes and was extremely sloooow but I got used to the pace, (just kinda crusin') now I just picked up a 79 300SD and am totally blown away that all mercedes diesels aren't slooow

Drive a CDI or a chipped E300D.
