Another vacuum leak thread... this should be easy though

hey everyone,

so i have come up on my summer duty of fixing my rough shifting tranny on my 300SD. I i got my trust vacuum gauge and i hooked it up to the line leading to the vacuum pump from the brak booster.

Read a solid 11

Now from all the reading i am doing, that number should be closer to 22.

So i hooked up my vacuum guage to the metal like that leads and feeds the booster line. (hooking up my guage to pump directly)

Read a solid 22.

So obviously my booster line is bad. Is it possible that one of the connectors off of it is broken or should i simply just replace the entire line al together. I was thinking of plugging the lines coming off of it to isolate exactly where it is leaking.

Suggestions anyone?

You need to disconnect the other vacuum lines attached to the booster line and cap the connectors.
