Tricks for opening old injectors?

I am trying to replace the injector nozzles today, but absolutely cannot get the injectors open. I have only one bench vise available but it's too small and slides around on the bench when force is put to the injectors. I can wait until tomorrow when someone I know is at his shop with a stronger vise, or I thought I would ask here in case someone happens to have their own little strategy for opening them. By the way I tried whacking the wrench with a rubber mallot as suggested on dieselgiant, but to no avail.

Many thanks in advance,
Geoff

The Combination wrench is 22mm but a big Cresent wrench can also work. If you can get someone else to hold the Combination wrench down for you. I have also torqued them like this but for the torquing it is best to have a vice.

I agree with the two long wrenches. Harbor freight, like the one pictured above, has some cheap ones. If you do it this way you wont side load the injector body like I have done in the past with a socket. You also won't risk hitting the pintle or anything with the socket over the end.

The long handled combination wrench is part of a set from Harbor Freight; when on sale tha several weeks ago the the set was $16.99. As you said you could use 2 combination wrenches but my socket is deep enough that there is no problem with hurting the pintel.
