84 190D auto trans in an 85 300D?

Just curious if the transmission will interchange between an 84 190D and an 85 300D?

Thanks

-Brandon

Different families.

They are different engine families entirely. The starters are on the opposite sides of the engine.

They will not work at all unless you swap the engine with it.
