How did that work out? I'm guessing the diesel engine fit pretty easily into an engine bay that was designed for a big V8.

The driverside engine shock is in the wrong location, it is currently unconnected, I may change that and weld a small braket in the proper location. The only difficulites I had with the swap, were in regards to a manual trans, I had to get a custom made pilot bearing, custom make the shift rods, Driveshaft was custom as well, same thing with speedo cluster. I had the flywheel balanced but they did a **** job, I asked them to balance it to the flex plate, and they said that it was "close enough" to neutral balance. I certainly wont be going back to that machine shop unfortunatly there are only 2 shops within 100 miles that balance flywheels.
