One of my Favorite TV ads.

LOL though it is not an ad for a Mercedes, it ends up being an ad for a Mercedes......

Granada or Benz.....?

It wouldn't play for me. My sister had a Granada. What a piece of crap that was. It rusted out completely in sort order. One of the doors actually fell off, I think.

A friend of mine got himself pulled over in a malfunctioning Granada by an officer who profiled him as a mule. The car was couldn't go much faster than 55 and all the odd clattering and groaning noises issuing from it made him a very slow and nervous driver - which matched the typical suspect to a "T"

After watching a few of those ads I now realize why some people actually thought the 240D was a great car back in the late 70's.

Lots of fogetable American made 1970's junk. Luckly they have all turned to dust by now!

I like the classic Mercedes commercials, they do have a few good ones:

W126

More modern commercials:
I think this is the best one and defines MB perfectly:
This commercial defines all that is Mercedes...

AMG "The beast"

Cool SL commercial

A couple other makes.
From Shell:

Turn the volume way up, 2 minutes of a Ferrarigasm!

Audi making fun of Lexus.

What I would give to take my 123 up on one of those countless heavy embankment test tracks used in every German automotive promotional video.

Oh I agree completely....I'd much rather have a 240D than a Chrysler Cordova (or was it Cobdoba?) with fine corinthian leather.

American cars have come a long way since the 70's.

The proof is in the putting - I see more 78 MB's on the road than 78 Granada's
