A/C compressor turned off
Greetings,
I am on a short road trip with my wife and the compressor in my 93 300d seems to have just turned off. The fan and climate controls are working just fine. I know that the compressor is not turning on. I was driving down the road and it just turned off. I don't have any tools or a service manual. Is there a fuse that just controls the compressor and if so, where is it located? The A/C has been working super and very cold. Car only has 146,000 miles on it. Like I said, it has been working flawlessly. Help.

Have the freon pressures checked. You may have had a sudden loss of freon---like a stone through the condensor---I had that happen on a Nissan.
Check the fuses, A/C compressor clutch wires and the Klima relay also.
