Replacing cabin air filter on Mercedes R 320 Cdi
Tools needed – screwdriver and replacement filters
Time – 5 min. Filter is located inside engine compartment on the left side near widow. Use picture to locate two lockers. Use screwdriver to pry open. Pull plastic funnel out. Filters are inside compartment. Simply reach in and pull one by one. Find out the left one to start with is easier. Replace with new ones. Pay attention to printed flow arrows on filters. Insert plastic funnel. Three locking knobs on the bottom of funnel must be inserted to opposite holes. Finally lock the top lockers. I’m non professional technician. All information posted is only from my experience. Have pictures, but impossible to upload all of them. |

How far back do cabin air filters go? I have an '87 SEC. I don't think it has one.

That's what I thought, but was wondering when they came into use.

Perfect timing. I just bought a new filter for my 2004 E320 Sedan and I need to replace the old one now. Thanks for posting this info. I got some ideas on how to change my cabin filter.
