I got mine from Eagle Auto Electric on eBay for about $120 shipped + no core charge.

So far, working beautifully.

Does that bump over 14 volts with increased rpms? Voltage seems low for idle. When I got that output I thought I was done, but in reality I was just measuring the battery voltage.

Well I must have a weak a$$ engine. Because it kept dying in idle. OK maybe it doesn't fully lock up, but it will definitely make a bunch of noises and smoke as you raise the RPM a bit.
