Forget the boost gauge and start working on your ability to use the search function......

Jeremy gave you a good link. I wonder how he found it??

low dollar boost guage

**edit**
Upon a peaceful nights sleep, methinks above post might have been a tad rude. Sorry to original poster. We can think it, but we don't always need to say it I guess.....

or you can be a nice guy and actually tell him and have him not work his ass off like i did.

look for the line that goes to the manifold, the end of it has a banjo bolt that is really slimy, 9 times out of 10 there clogged. halfway on the line i cut it and got a T shaped rubber fitting and reconnected the line then added the boost line, there are unused slots so you can get it in through the firewall too. i mounted mine ttop between the center vents.

if you need any more help or advice let me know

I provided a link that described the process that even had pictures.
You "worked your ass off" installing a boost gauge? Dude........
Your kind offer to help the original poster is a very nice gesture and is what this forum is all about. But the sarcastic villiage idiot has his place too!

Besides, the Cap'n will always get me told!

Never mind Cap'n, Jeremy beat you to it......

BTW, ideas for a search for installing a boost gauge:
"Boost"
"Gauge"

Actros, don't get turned off by our sometimes-snarky comments. We have seen the same questions over and over again and sometimes lose our patience. As Jimmy said, this is rude. We are here to help each other, after all.

As regards your search, perhaps you might help us to help you by explaining what terms you used in your unsuccessful search. There is a ton of information on boost gauges -- where/how to install them in the dash, how to hook up under the hood, even how to modify the "economy" gauge from a gasser to work as a boost gauge.

Jeremy

I provided you a link with pictures of exactly what you were asking about. I merely implied how easy it would have been to find it yourself, and you wouldn't have had to wait for an answer.

"Crazy, mad, insane", please.........

Using the search function is not always as productive as some think that it is.

Sometimes a Google search (both on the web and on images) will get you the information quicker, and often will lead you right back to the forum.

I generally spend at least an hour searching and reading before posting. After that, if someone has a problem with my question, I really don't care.

It isn't like we're trying to find "oil" or "tire" or something nebulous.
I'm done with this thread.
Hugs and kisses......
