Injector nozzles 300d
Hey all, I know this has the potential to be something like asking about which motor oil is best, but here goes anyway.
Are Bozio or Monark injector nozzles really any better than stock? I am running at least a B50 blend, so wondering if that has anything to do with performance of stock. **************.com (I know there's differing opinions on the quality of their stuff) says Monarks have a OSD 265 spec, which is better for fuels other than petro diesel. Dieselgiant seems to think Bozios are good.
Side note: I do get increased idle smoke when running richer blends of bio. But never excessive smoke under way. Sometimes when I run out of bio, I'll fill up at the pump (ugghh hate the cost), and I notice considerably less idle smoke. It's grey smoke--definitely fuel smoke. If all other things are ok i.e. filters, valves adjusted, etc., could the injectors cause excess idle smoke--and more of it on bio? I was thinking maybe so if an injector is streaming fuel and not popping properly. Thanks a bunch for thoughts, input.
