I picked up a Mercedes MB140D Van recently which is a SSang Yong Isanta with Merc Badging and an engine made in Korea under licence which is a merc OM602 Diesel. it has been off the road for 4 years ( it's a 2000 build) and blown a headgasket. Because of it's Daewoo connection parts are almost impossible to find.
It required a complete rebuild.i have checked and rechecked timing etc ...
I have cleaned and flushed the tank. New glow plugs and the ECU for the glow plugs works. Engine has plenty of Compression .
BUT. It will only fire if given a load of engine start

and won't idle .It appears that it isn't getting any fuel on start or cranking speed. Idle speed is 700RPM if I could get it to idle..
Seeing as this is a Bosch equipped mercedes engine with different name can any one point me to a fualt finding chart(etc) where I can go through the fuel system and figure out what is going on here.
