Thumbs up CLK wheels

Hey Jimmy,
I think they are mid 90's CLK. I put a set on Stella and got by without spacers (barely), just shorter lugs in the rear.

Not sure where the fins are. Considered blacking the grill, as it looks
good on other color cars. Perhaps it would be too much black I think,
for my car. If I had a color, then black would be a contrast. With black
grill AND black paint, I dunno.

JimmyL,
The wheels are 16", the tires are Toyo Proxes4 Directional 205/55R16.
Never heard of the tire brand before. The ride is firm, but I like that.
Tires seem quite sticky so I doubt they will last long. If they last reasonably well I'll buy Toyo replacements. The wheels BARELY clear the tie rods. So much so, I had to replace the clip weights with stick-ons. No problems other than that since I put 'em on. I almost got Ronals but the guy flaked.
I sort of purchased these as a default, but have come to see that they
are perfect visually imo, for the TD. I have not seen a pic of a better wheel for a wagon. Subtle and balanced. Almost like they were a factory option. I like "enhancements" that appear that they could have been
factory options. I sort of stay away from mods that are not real subtle.
I did like the small driving light for back up lights on this forum though.

But that shouldn't necessitate a complete designation change, for fear that somebody might not know we have a very manly turbocharger.......
{figuratively speaking Ahani, not targeting you specifically}

Sure I see your point. But the designation on the back of my car is 300TD Turbodiesel. It's just easier to abbreviate the word turbodiesel with an extra T...

I don't feel strongly about it either way I just prefer too much information to too little information.
