Proper method for aligning a W210?
My 98 needs an alignment, can I just go anywhere or is a special machine or tool needed for a proper alignment?

Someone with a newer rack and ability to check all 4 corners while its up there should be just fine.
Camber bolts were aftermarket; it prob already has them.

My favorite tire store says he can't align W210's. Claims there is some special preload tools, and he can't do it.
On the other hand, my favorite local shop doesn't do alignments either, but subs out to an alighment specialist who does it. I'd say, ask your man. He should know if he can handle it or not. |
