I saw a guy that was putting a 6.9 in a W123 on this site awhile back. Now that would be a wild ride!

How about a Chevy 350/350. Independant suspension, solid car with dual exhaust. The right tranny and you could get high 20's I'll bet.

Then the other end of the spectum, how about a 4 cylinder gas with a standard 5 speed tranny?

when i was in Russia last year i saw a w123 with a spare topolov engine slipped right in. Had lots of torque though!

Many 560 conversions have been done. I honestly wouldn't mind one myself...

First: 560E in Europe.
Second: 1982 560CE sold recently on eBay.
