Name that line.....
I have a split line on my '80 300SD. Pic's attached. Anyone care to guess where it goes to? I haven't crawled under the dash inside yet to take a look, but I imagine I'll have to pull the instrument cluster. It connects to a "T" near the oil filter housing and appears to enter the firewall under the driver side dashboard. I'll tackle it asap... hopefully before it starts raining again......

The split is just the anti-rubbing sleeve, nothing to worry about, I'd be more worried about the flare fitting leaking.
