W123. I keep blowing #12 Fuse
Any help here with this one. I keep blowing the #12 fuse on my '83 300TD.
No windows and no blinkers is a big issue and I honestly don't know what it could be. Is there a way that I can locate a relay and see if it has gone bad? Maybe crossed wires?

make sure the hot wire that is plugged into the clock isn't touching the body of the cluster.

If you have a tow hitch check the wiring to the plug. Wire connections here are often a hash! Check where 6 core goes thro hole in trunk has grommet etc.

Beagle,
That is interesting. It does have a hitch and I think that I am familiar with what you are talking about. I will have a look at that also. thanks

I have unplugged the wire to the clock. I will see how it goes. I suppose I would rather not have a clock than have to keep fooling around with the blown fuses
