I bought the books back in '95 or '96, the CD last year (for the 124). The CD has some poor scans, but it is IMO so much easier to skip from one part to another in the CD, and I can do it with dirty fingers without damaging the CD, ... plus I remember spending at least $150 for the set of books.

I'm happy to have both, but the books seldom leave the bookshelf. The CDs are in the computer regularly (I often load one in each CD drive) and great for quick browsing.
