Where is the oil pressure sender?

I want to install a better electronic oil pressure gauge than what is in the dash of my car but I don't know there oil pressure sender is on my car. It's a 1983 300D-T. I've been told that the electronic gauge just hooks up to that sender and that it's much better and cleaner than a mechanical one. Thanks for the info!
