There is absolutely no relevance between the oil change and the rough start. It's one of those placebo effects that you notice after you did something but, it's not at all relevant to what you did.

Please describe your start procedure. When do you turn the key to the #3 position (crank)?

glow for about twice as long as the light stays on, one pedal pump then start, starts fine. the black smoke was only the one time right after that change and like i said mainly bothered be becasue of the black stuff it spit out of the tailpipe allover the driveway. it runs fine now, i think the white smoke at startup and on heavy exceleration is somewhat normal correct, only really noticable at night or if very cold outside. idling a bit rough when cold tho but i will investigate for a loose vactube from the pressure washing the other night

Sounds like you may have been over reacting? Keep an eye on it, perhaps. Another somewhat related test for another time:

drop the trans into low gear and bring the engine up to high rpms.

let off the throttle completely all at once.

after 3-5 seconds hit the throttle again and look for smoke behind you. This is tired valve stem seals and/or valve guides.
