For the super turbo deezels , I did the euro goddess ~ panZZer SS package. The design allows the use of a lower front intercooler -like a cosworth sierra--or perhaps a turbo dodge omni one.
The small center brace behind the license plate has to be removed however -by drilling out the spotwelds.

There was this and that -That I did not like about the AMG stuff- like the nimrod ears poking up over the wheel arches on either side, or the unsightly 3/4" gaps below the bumper on each side
and the vacuuum formed material those are made of.

there will be custom side skirts coming along pretty soon,

there will not be any silly, pretentious rear wrap

Bosch euro Headlights

Gen 1 euro bumpers

euro warning triangle

Heckeblende (at least thats what they call them for vws and porsches, the reflector part that goes between the taillights)

Sportservice Lorinser springs

Lorinser (by momo) steering wheel

16x8 Lorinser wheels

Gen 2 rear seat with headrests

Thats about it for now, as far as results, I think it looks a lot nicer than it did stock, and it handles much better with the new wheels and tires.

Removed hubcaps for more of that South African farmer look.
Installed goldenrod 1 quart fuel filter because I had to change the primary filter 3 times on trip to Chalma,NM. Right side near AC freon canister.
Installed Fomoco heater core, didn't feel like pulling the dash out to install Mcd core from the back of the box. Anybody want an unused $350 Mercedes W123 80 heater core?
Replaced ashtray with dual power panel to use dual electric heaters to defrost windshield and drive home after work (7AM) before the engine heats up.
Looking for rear oversize springs, taking all my tools out to the country property makes the rear end sag. That's why I bought the car, I have 2 diesel tractor/lawnmowers out there that don't run right now.
I'm very interested in your Fomoco heater core installation. For the same reasons as you, I'm considering some sort of alternate heater for my '84 Euro TD. Please PM me if needed.

Otherwise on my TD, I replaced the mangled Euro rear bumper and broken Euro headlights with US versions - what I already had on hand.
(PO had already installed a US bumper in front)
Then I painted a crappy set of US headlight doors a matching Ivory body color for a custom touch.
(I've since found complete Euro bumpers and headlights to put it back to OE someday)

Replaced dead alternator with 100+ amp Bosch unit, including customized cable for B+ connection.

Replaced the PO's malfunctioning, distracting jukebox-ricer CD radio with a vintage Blaupunkt cassette unit, wired so I don't need the key. Added a simple cupholder to the center-tray.

Happy Motoring, Mark
