Help! I need a new main air vacuum element
Hi everyone,
I was in the process of changing my center vacuum element and thought it would be nice to change all of them on my '83 300D turbo. I can't find the main vacuum element available through allparts or fastlane or ********. I have the center element and the others are available except for the main air flap element. Does anyone have a source for this element? It's the one that you see just behind the glove box. Unfortunately, I have removed the existing one from the car and need a replacement ASAP. Thanks.

If the element is rubber with a leak, you may be able to repair it as I have done a couple, with glue for repairing wetsuits. I've read of some people using the glue and a tiny piece of a rubber glove. The ones I've done are still going after a couple of years.
