Even simpler, just push the far right button on the climate control panel which will cut off all the vacuum going to the system (I believe).
Many pods can be fixed without removing the dash.

true for the most part but the defrost one you cant if you have fat hands. Most of the others the dash doesnt need to come off. Removing the glovebox should make life easier.
