my 85 has died

We have had too much snow here in the northwest already this winter. Parked the 85 in the shop So I would have driveway space to use when it snowed.
The life of the 85 is over. Need to find another one....

Sorry about your car.

There must have been quite a bit of snow on the roof.

Oh no. That seriously stinks. I'm sorry that happened to you. It's wishful thinking, but maybe it isn't as bad as it looks.

Bummer dude. The roof of my old high school also collapsed. It's been an uncharacteristically wild Winter already in the state. Spokane is getting absolutely hammered.

Your car faired better than your shop!!
At least you have a good drive train available.
Let the "it will just buff out" joke series get started......

another glass.....another snack....another football game....

You know have another glass of your beverage of choice, another snack, and watch another football game. It will look better after the snow melts.

Okay, some cheer to help warm your heart and spirit. I went to see a diesel car (can't remember if it was a 240D or 300D --- Jimmy? Do you remember when I called you about the color? Sienna?) and a tree limb had fallen on the car. The damage was a really "little" dent according to the owner on the phone. It was about 6-8 inches right on the roof at the top of the C pillar right up against the back window (no glass breakage). Engine had blow by (lots), and 2 of the hubcaps were bruised up from falling limbs, too. I looked up --- no tree. The owner explains to me that he had had 2 trees taken down since the damage.

He was asking $2500 but wanted an offer from me. He convinced me that he would not be insulted, so....I finally told him that he had a moving parts car (did I mention the rust on the rear panels?). And that the junk yard buys better cars for $250.

He didn't shoot nor bark, but did say it would be a great cheap car for a college student.

Hope the rest of your year has better car luck.

That's just a sad state of affairs, Doug. Both the garage roof and the M/B in one shot.

Any chance that you can get some reprieve from insurance?

...........some lousy New Year's present........
