Iam getting younger. Diesel Aroma Therapy?

Since joining MB Shop Iam getting younger. must be the aroma therapy Iam getting form the Diesl exhaust.

Or the Diesel I spill on my hands I rub through my hair when fueling up. Gives me that slicked down look.

Well Today is my birthday, and I see Iam with a couple other greats I recognize, CARRAMEOW and SWAMPYANKEE.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO US.
Well Iam suppose to be 65 and Iam listed as 62, I love this Forum

Yesterday we had an addition to the family, a new little grandson. Mom is doing fine, just had to unzip her. So today we have preschool here with the other two grand daughters. 3 and 1 1/2.

I think pulling an engine is easier that herding kids . wow the kids are a lot of work, but I will sleep good after a day with them .

I do have my get away in the shop installing the new clutch in my Datsun Diesel PU. 140,000 miles and two of the springs in the clutch disc are loose and flopping around making quite a racket. Ordered the clutch from Phill $131.00 and everything is in the kit for the job. Wish the MB clutch was as reasonable.
Also taking the transmission apart to steam clean the case and replace the seals.
A few seals on the engine to replace while out and spiffy up the engine compartment. then good to go another 140,000? miles. that should get me to 590,000 miles. we`ll see.

We`ll see if I can keep all my Junk patched up and running for one more year.

Thank you to all on this great diesel forum that have made this another eventfull and entertaining year. Be interesting to see how young I will be next year.

Thanks To All.

Charlie

Happy Birthday Charlie!!!!

Thanks for the knowledge you've shared with me. It's appreciated.

EDIT: If diesel has been helping, maybe you should try some biodiesel. It will help lube the joints better.

BTW, congratulations Gramps.

I spend everyday with my 3 yo son and 1 1/2 yo daughter so I know what you mean about the work.

WOW! This has been a stressful 27 hours, my Monitor decided not to work when I turned on the computer. I just had a white screen.
I took the computer to a electronic shop and used another monitor and work good. so i went from gramps to grumps .

So tonight staples has a 22 inch flat screen for $169.98 and Iam back in business. dang now Iam 3 pages behind on my reading.

Mom is doing good and Junior is off IV but has a feeding tube for a few more days, was a little early.

This is day 3 of baby sitting boy this is grinding us down, at least tomarrow they come over at noon.

Thanks for the replys, I guess we capricorns are the old Goats, Iam always butting my head on something.

Happy birthday Charlie!! I'm glad one of us is feeling younger these days. I just had to move to reading glasses within the past month or two.
Congrats on the new grandchild too. I'm not quite there yet.....

I have a different use for diesel, it is the opposite of staying younger---it ages you, rapidly--i start the car inside the garage, with door closed, for 10 minutes or so.
That kills/drives out the mice that seek refuge in the winter! And, it makes the room smell good afterwards. Before going back inside, I take a gulp of clean air, and hold it,
don't want to age myself any more than i have to.
