if you're really in a bad spot, you can usually get away w/ only replacing the pads, even if the rotor is hashed. they will last a while. and I think oreilly has a set of pads for like $11- you could spend a few hours combing the ditches for beercans to make that $$.

I actually own a biz. That's why Im broke lol. My employess are getting paid and Im not. Havent paid myself in over a year now. But....... Im officially not "homeless now" With both the parts car/back up SD (fuel issues, I fixed this weekend) and my VW down (ground fault? Wiring fault??, causing computer Immobilizer to freeze the car- computer VW wizard been chasing the issue for 6 months now) I was in affect homeless (sleeping on floor of my office) but now that I got the SD running (just not stopping well) I can actually drive home. Half hour commute with wheels. With that being, what a 6-8?? hour walking commute; homeless on the office floor looked better. Home is a small cabin, battery/generator powered out in the boonies. Im driving home tonight for the first time in a reeal long time. Im excited. But it will also be COLDDDDD lol. no heat on in there for a long time. When brakes are fixed I'll get a part time job. When VW fixed.... I'll be on cloud nine.
