In case anyone over here in the US cares, MB has some good explainations on how their CDI diesel is improved over previous designs....

Not sure how the technology works but once you drive one you will not believe its a Diesel. The E class 320CDI hits sixty in about 8 seconds and outpaces most gas cars. The economy is still great.
Wish I could afford one.
