E300D vibration in gear
Hello, went to look at an E300D wagon the other day in pretty nice condition, one thing I noticed after starting it up was it idled fine but when put in gear at standstill there was quite a noticeable vibration which wasn't there in P or N. Once moving the vibration disappeared. Does this sound like worn motor/engine mounts?

Yes, you are correct. Most likely the right side (drivers for you ) since that side gets more downward pressure with torque. It's fairly easy to replace and the part is probably 30 quid on ebay. I assume you mean a 210 right?
I believe this is the correct one but you'll want to verify the part number. The mounts are different for each side. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/GENUINE-MERCEDES-210-E-CLASS-ENGINE-MOUNT-210-240-2417_W0QQitemZ290280027590QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item290280027590&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1683%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318

Oops, OK, well still applies... Yes, it's the mount. But I don't think the 210 mount will fit the 124, sorry...
