Red vehicles and I don't get along :

If the eng had been properly rebuilt it is unlikely it would need a new head after one overheat..... Does look purty tho. Are SLS om60x heads that easy to find?

Just a quick FYI there are no SLS heads, the SLS system runs off the powersteering. This looks like quite a deal.

Hopefully your just talking about the W124's. My 300 TDT W123 Wagons have an SLS head and the SLS does not run off the power steering!

Yeah that goes without saying. I should always be more specific.

Be Wery,Wery careful grasshopper!

(No mention of where the Funeral Services for the Wrench Turner's Progeny was
held.)

For how long after alleged "Overheat" was the engine operated (Run).
['Member the Well Known west coast round ball star who drove his V-12 W140 35 miles to the dealership with the Temp Gauge in Overheat? I heard 20K+ for new engine. He just wrote them a check ]

If ALL the dummy did was warp the head... Nah!
(And How long has it been sitting with coolant where it should'na be?)

If all it "needs" is a good Used/New head, let him slap one on it and list it
for $3500.00.

[I'd wanna personal interview with the Remanufacturer,First]

And then there's the whole Lazarus thing(s) with all that hasn't been
attended to the last 22 years.

Not with the aluminum head on the OM603. Once seems to be enough.
