I'm a proud new 1st time MB owner. Just bought a '89 190D. Checking the glow plugs I found one of the wires coming apart at he glow plug. It's looks bad or it's going to be bad soon. I did not meter yet but the glow plug light comes on while it is running which indicates a bad glow plug. All the glow plugs metered fine to the block with no opens.

Are pig tails available or should I just solder on some ring terminals and use nuts. Slide on to the studs is much easier.

I'm replacing the whole harness, evidently its problematic with my year vehicle

No the wire insulation is in very good shape just the wire is coming out of the end that slides onto the glow plug
