Our 1987 300SDL alarm goes off when we turn on the headlights, even if the engine is running or not, what's going on, we cant drive that car at night because the light blinks and the horn goes off the hook, anyone knows what's going on, is there something that we can remove to deactivate the alarm system???

maybe its something another W126 owner has had an issue with?
or Pierre? I called him the day after the GTG to fix an issue on my seat
