80sd throttle linkage conversion

I have a 80 sd im swapping a later 617 into with the 82 sd linkage
any ideas on how to make these work

the 80 has different style linkage

If you are using the 82's transmission, I would say swap over all the linkage from the donor car. You might have to fab a mount at the firewall.

You are going to have to do something about clearancing the later upper oil pan over the W116 front subframe.

yeah, really? Isn't the later upper oil pan honeycombed and thicker than the early one?
