Question How do I tighten alternator belt on 70 220D?

Hey all, just wondering how I tighten the alternator belt on my 220D. It's literally just hanging on and squealing like crazy. Thanks everyone!

Loosten the mounting bolts, unlock the adjuster and adjust it. Then relock the mounting bolts.

Yep..very easy...
-Slacken the locknut (1)...
-Then loosen slightly the 13 mm nut of the lower supporting bolt (2) ...
-Loosen slightly 13mm bolt (3)
-Turn the threaded adjusting sleeve (4) to adjust tension...
Then tighten 3-2-1...
While there you may also want to check the 4 rubber/metal bushings of the supporting bracket , the eye of the long adjuster bolt and the 19mm bolt that is holding it to the engine block for wear...Lube the eye/bolt combination regularly.
