1978 Non-turbo 300D - aux pump or not?
I've always thought this was an aux pump. It sure looks like one, but someone said that my model might not have had one and that this might be a mono valve that controls flow to the heater core. I'm talking about the thing on the left in the photo, not the servo.

Iam not familiar with your year and the servo, but it does look like a aux pump. do those two hoses attach to the bottom of the unit? the top looks like the electric motor on my pump that sits horizonal on the inner fender.
Is there 12 volts that goes to it, ie a plug? the brown wire is ground don`t remember the other wire color maybe blk with a red stripe. run 12v to the plug and see if it will activate the motor. Don`t know if turning on the key and pushing the heat button will do it or not. try this first. Charlie

Ok, that's what I thought, but just needed some confirmation. Thanks!
