Hey guys,
does anyone have a part number or proper name of the reflector (euro only I believe) that goes between the rear two taillights on a w126. Are they rare?

I just saw a center reflector panel on eBay.

Does anyone have a pic of what one looks like installed?

I tried Photoshopping one on, but the dimensions needed to be skewed too much IMO. I'd like to see how it's supposed to fit and look.

Beverly Hills Motoring Accessories used to sell them, not sure whether they had them made but it was definately aftermarket.

I found a photo of one, but the rest of the tail light lenses are aftermarket.

I'd like to see what it looks like with the stock tail light lenses. I think I prefer the look of the rear without the panel, but I can't tell yet.

I'm a Photoshop professional but I'm not interested enough in seeing the stock lenses with the center reflector to spend the time needed to make it look like an un-edited photo. Plus, part of what I want to see is how accurately the red of the center reflector matches to stock tail lights.

i believe it's called a heckblende or something like that. Hella made them for Mk2 volkswagens, I'd assume they made them for other makes as well.

I don't really know what you do either. All I know is you like MB's and trains ... and you don't have any clear photos of yourself anywhere on the internet.

I have w126 fever and have started searching for stuff the way I do for the w123s. That's how I came across this center reflector and my desire to see how it looks installed.
