Does anyone know of a good online source for used Mercedes Benz Parts? All of the auto recycling centers in my area (eastern North Carolina) have apparently crushed all of their old Mercedes. I need parts for an 83 300D Turbo and an 85 300SD.

I would call the Parts Depot in High Point. They are nice folks and give me fairly decent prices. Ask for Nathan or Bo. Their number is 336-841-6550. They have a bunch of parts cars and can pull the part and ship it to you.

Try www.car-part.com this will give you the nearest salvage yards that regularly have MB's. (When I did a search for New Bern, NC, there were places in Wilmington and Goldsboro that came up. Many were in Virginia.)

Also, try www.silverstarrecycling.com (I have never used them but have seen their advertising in The Star magazine and other places.)

I just bought two doors from these people. They are in NC and treated me well. They have a lot of MB parts on Ebay.

I've had good luck with them. They can be slow, but delivered what they said they would.

I still havent received the windshield I bought through E-bay. If you use them and its getting close to 45 days and still no delivery, file a claim to cover your purchase.
