I avoid the dealership like the plague...they gouge on parts just because they can.

If you're willing to take a short drive to Royal Oak, there's a great parts place there...that's where I buy all my stuff.
All European?

I know Meyle makes bad rubber parts (seals, boots, whatnot) but not sure if I'd still go with them on waterpumps. Ordered Meyle tie rods before and sure enough they went bad a few months after. The original tie rod that did not need to be replaced still had intact rubber boots, while the Meyle was already ripped!

You didn't haggle. Most dealers will lower their parts price if you tell them you can get the same brand elsewhere for much cheaper.

and alot of dealers will set you up as a whole sale client. i called mine from work and the guy at the dealer just offered right off the bat. really good pricing now, usually same or better than internet. and you get genuine parts...

I just installed two Meyle flex discs on my dad's car....they seemed of high quality....and were made in Germany. They even had a "Quality Control Check" sticker sealing the box.

As long as the part is German made the quality seems to be fine, its the knock off stuff that isn't trustworthy.
