I'd post a "want to buy" in the for sale section; someone out there probably has a set of hard lines, or knows of some at a junkyard that they can go get for you!

I wouldn't mind that, but I was hoping to get a quick turnaround, like a new set from a professional business. I'll post it none the less and look on ebay.

My advice is also to change the return hoses (the greenish ones), they do not seem to be MB.

I replaced the original hoses as they were dried out and weaping fuel when I first got the car. Didn't know of all the MB internet retailers, so I found some high temp, viton hose (green) and used it in its place. Its held up real well, but about half of the return hose spring clamps were missing and I would like to replace those as well. Got a source for those? I live out in the middle of no where and don't have access to much locally so I'm constantly having to find everythig I need on the internet.

Spring clamps for the return hose....? My car isn't equipped with them (W210 E300) ,must aslo admitt that I never saw them. Once mounted the MB return lines are solidly connected to the injectors.
Cheers,
Ingmar

Just an update, incase someone else is looking for this info, I started a new thread about the Engine running hot here:

Car Runs hot under load - 1990 W124 300D 2.5Turbo

I also started a thread about the broken hardline here:
Failed Injector Hard Line - W124 300D 2.5Turbo (PICS)

I got the hardline replaced and engine running again. Now I'm on to trying to trouble shoot my rough idle, hard shifting tranny, and fixing my fan clutch. I took a video of the engine running and put it on Youtube here. Of course while making the video, the engine was running fairly smooth except for the after engine "rev".

Another update: before I found this forum, I went through a headache of having my lower ball joint fail. I got that fixed in about a week turn around. Here are some pics of when it broke. When the ball joint failed, the bottom side of it punched the inside surface of the stock rim and punched a .25" diameter hole in it, and then dug a grove around the inside rim until the car came to a stop. I'm just grateful it happened 20 yards from my driveway as I was turning off my street. If this had happened on the freeway it could have be disastrous!
