As some of you can recall, my timing chain broke on my 1993 300D 2.5T a few months back, pretty much destroying the engine. I have obtained another motor from a wrecked 93 300D, with the installation currently underway. Big problem, the oil pump in the old blown engine was damaged from the timing chain break. The replacement motor had oil pan damage (from the wreck) and the oil pump was also damaged. Other than the oil pump/pan problem, the replacement engine appears in really good shape with low mileage. So I need an oil pump. Bad news, MB (including MB in germany) no longer has the part (6021800401).

Any suggestions or recommendations?
