[Cheap] Junkyards between MD, PA, and NY

[Simpler=Better]

I'm driving from Gaithersburg, Maryland up to Rochester, NY crossing through PA. I'm looking to get a new trunk&lock, some other small random parts, and most importantly an intake/exhaustmanifold(w/turbo) for expirimenting on.

Does anyone know of good yards along this route? I always enjoy a detour

bob englers used auto parts in nuangola pa. depends on what you want. there are 2 123 300d's and two older 116 models i get parts from.

i see you pass through harrisburg, it may be a slight detour.... this is about 30 miles out of the way.

i needed some odds and ends. like window switches, sunroof motor, passenger mirror, chrome molding, regulator/motor. he charged me 60 bucks.

I have a trunk lock, $15 shipped, it's yours. I know it's more fun to pull your own though. Can't let go of my intake and turbo though.

Cmon'...... If it's a 617 it will still run without the manifolds just fine

Crazy Ray's is awesome, unfortunatly the Mt airy one doesnt have any 617's right now. On second thought there is one 300SD but someone took the compressor side of the turbo apart. You'll have better luck and much better selection at the 3 in the baltimore area.

Update: The Jessup location had a sore looking 240Auto and a Cali 300D
the 2801 Hawkins Point Rd., Baltimore address has a huge selection of 80's gassers, and 1 617!!! I got the intake manifold today, tomorrow morning I'll be grabbing the turbo/exhaust manifold(I gave up at 5:00pm; at 5:15 they start charging double!)

I went to the Crazy Ray's a Hawkins Point Tuesday and there were about 15 MBs. They had 3 450SLC, 1 450SL, a host of W126s, and a few W201s and W124s. Just a couple W123s. Just inside the gate they had 2 of the SLC and 4 W126s - right there! The first W126 on the end of the line was a 500SEL euro, the bumpers from which I own now.

The risk with Crazy Ray's are that they move their inventory very quickly. I tell you it was there Tuesday and it could have been crushed Wednesday - I make no promises.

Another risk is that they will nickle and dime you for every little part, for instance, you want a seat, that will cost you $X, but motors with it cost extra. It adds up very quickly. I have been to all 4 of their locations multiple times and have gotten the best pricing breaks at the Jessup locations. They even have a sign up that says something to the end that if you are nice you get a better price.
