Where is the High Side AC port W123 300D

The 1980 300D with R4 compressor (compressor located on left/drivers-side
under powersteering pump).

Low pressure connector is found on top large line on passenger side.

Trouble locating High Side connector.
I find another AC line connector behind the alternator, again on a large line.
This would seem to be the high side.
This other large line leads immediately to the condensor in front of the radiator.

Is it the high side connector ?

At the risk of getting yelled at.....

Any explanation why R134 screw on adapters don't fit over that high
side connector ?

Too old ?

The R-12 service ports were not the same size on all vehicles. You apparently have an adapter for a different size R-12 port.
