Ha, this is true. We still have a few weeks to conjure up something.

Oh and we need to take some rolling shots!

Hey!!!
Hi all...I'd be game and if anyone reads my post under "1991 350sdl", I am offering a 1/1 FULLY contained small cottage (gratis) to anyone that can tutor me on my 2 123's and/or my "new rebuilt" '91 350sdl....I am in Mount Dora ('bout 40 mins N. of Orlando..easy commute)! Regardless, I'd show up anywhere w/ one of my cars for sure! Most appealing tutorial offer gets first right..and yes, I have tools! '82 300td, '85 300D, '91 350sdl

That might be the perfect place to cruise to. Do you have any links to information about it?

No kidding!! That boat show is awesome.

I have been following this thread for a few days. I want to go, but that is a bad time for us.

Put me on the list. But, I will have to "play it by ear".

Is this the boat show with vintage woodies? I googled it. That would make my trip, that's for sure.

Vintage Woodie boats? SWEET!

Does this date match the boat show?

Either way count me in!! I'll bring the car that has the best AC and a big cooler!

Was a location decided on?

There is a cool place I went to a VW show at in Port Orange(Just south of Daytona). It is a park that has a road around a lake. The VW's lined both sides of the road around the lake(some shady areas too). Or even in Daytona there is big parking lots right off of International Speedway Blvd(Hwy-92) No shade. Maybe even next to the Harley Davidson motorcycle shop on Beach street. No shade (I think it use to be some kind of a car dealer).

Or in Sanford(just north of Orlando on I-4) there is a bar called "Jonny Rottens Bar Out Back" right on the big lake there(a good place with room and a bar too). some shade on edges. or down the street still on the water there is alot of old Sanford we could line the streets!
There may be a possibility here in Titusville in one of the mall parking lots(don't get excited the malls SUCK!) or Sand Point Park on the Indian river.

Also there is some decent size parking lots in Cape Canaveral on A1A(like in front of and behind Fairvilla Mega store) or farther south Indian Atlantic there is a good size Walmart parking lot.

Do we need a official location or can we just meet up and take over some space??

Also the outlets in St Augustine right on I95 have some out lying parking lots we could acquire I'm sure. Possession is 9/10 of the law right?? LOL!

There is a parking lot directly across the street from where I live that never ever fills up. It's not in the shade, but there is a publix right there. Just a possibility, it's on Universal Blvd.

It's cool (as in Phat)..... But, it is definitely not COOL. If we do that again one of us needs to bring a pop up shelter!

It was hotter than 40 hells at the last one and it was not really "that hot" out. It will be hotter now. The total lack of Sea Breeze that day was part of the problem.
