Well I did it replace my D/S Axle.83 300d
Me and my buddy,replace the D/S rear Axle.Was not easy,I follow the info on this site,took about 3hrs to do,had problems lining up the 22mm bolts on rear support housing,had to use pry bar to line up.

I guess I was just really lucky, I had no trouble at all lining it up, I didn't even try, I just put started putting the bolts in and it was fine.
