So far, very solid, vacuum locks all work, power steering good, drains under the hood hinges clear (which was a problem on my previous 300D which lead to leaks and rust and more rust). It rained all last night, no water leaks! I was going to change the tranny oil and filter (which I wasn't looking forward to) but it looks clear so I won't. I will do a Mobil 1 oil change, Walmart has a $22 (down from $28) 5 quart special. I ordered 2 Lubro-Moly to do the purge, ran the Italian tune up this morning. I was going to flush the cooling system as the local stealership has the MB coolant for $15 down from $22 but I will hold off for now as Janis is running constant at 87-92 C with the A/C on. I bought some brake cleaner to clean out the banjo bolt and it was pretty clean when I took it off. This is one well maintained 300D! Has a receipt for the A/C retrofit for $380 3 years ago. I will need a hood pad as only the center is covered, have to pick up the expensive 3M adhesive- what's it called again? I think I bought it at Home Depot 7 years ago. The power antenna doesn't work but it just stays up so I will live with it.
