the a/c has a bracket that holds the freon lines tight. you need to remove that bolt on some cars to get the compressor to move enough to get the belt off. DO NOT TAKE THE BOLT OUT THAT HOLDS THE LINES TO THE COMPRESSOR!!! just the bolt that holds the bracket that holds the lines to the frame of the car.

I'll give it a look. I remember seeing a bracket while i was down there. I don't think it was in the way or holding back the AC though.
