Weird car problem
The other day, my car began to shake a bit when idling down to a stop, just a little bit like it's going to stall out. I thought it might be the fuel filters, so I changed both of those, still same problem.
I guess next up, is to clean the injectors, is that correct? Is there any way to "clean" them by dumping something into the tank, or must I do that lubro Molly thing? Thanks, Jeff 1991 300d, 138k |

Does it idle normal RPMs otherwise?
I go with RedLine Diesel Fuel Conditioner (Advance Auto, Pep-Boys, Autozone et al), it is a good detergent and cleans the entire fuel sytem, has served me well. Dump it in the tank. Caveat: It will clean the fuel tank at full cleaning dose, if it's dirty expect to change filters.
