I have owned this car since new with a once a year valve, filters and any coming up work like tires, brakes ect.. Every two years coolant, trans, and rear end change. I do 3,000 mile oil changes in between. I have never gone a year without an adjustment or repair. Never!

A year ago, when I did my yearly upkeep, I began to use 20% wvo, i micron filtered, just to play. The same fuel filters are still in and the car and it run smoother. It's time for my yearly again and I am trying to connect how wvo makes the lights and a/c last longer.

In the mean time I'm nervous.

Is the Yanmar a "Three Banger"?

'Go "Down There" and change the fluid in the Transmission...Pumping it out
and Re-Filling it will Chase away those Bad Karma Thoughts!
How's the Alignment of the Prop Shaft V.S. The Stuffing box?

I got the Bermuda 40 re-powered with the Yanmar Saildrive a few years ago and we have none of that now. I mostly clean things here in Florida waters (wife will not go for the first mate position story). If you need to re-power a motor-sail in Georigia, get the Yanmar Saildrive and it will give you more time to spend on the car.

Sounds like it's time for a second Mercedes.
Of course it's a hobby! With tangible benefits.
