you guys are both wimps.
I just smack the hood, and the valves adjust themselves out of fright.

Is it safe to say that on a w124 and higher that the valves are in fact adjusting themselves out of fear of having the valve cover removed?

Can I get a Monogrammed set?

Yeah but it would be hand monogrammed and look pretty rough. However, one of my projects is a CNC plazma table with a etching head. If I had it built I would give it a try. My son works with a CNC lazer table and it does great etching. Thanks

OK, I was joking at first.

Now I am truly interested. Will you create a list of us that would be interested in etching?

Cool.

No list, but I'm not going anywhere. I might have the table up early summer maybe. I'll keep it in mind. If you realy wanted to you could take a set of handles in to an etcher, they charge about 10-20 bucks and then send them my way. I think leaving it as a joke is better unless youy are looking for a gift for that special someone that has EVERYTHING. Thanks

Depending on the type of ' butter knife ' handles these start out as... etching might go through the plating and cause problems... like slivers in the palm of your hand..... later on.. you do not want any type of metal slivers in the palm of your hand...

Valve adjustment wrenches

Valve adjustment wrenches fresh off the welding table. These are the Butter Knife wrenches that are great conversation pieces between you and your spouse. Will sell or trade for a few 86 SDL interior parts. Thanks

For two long handle......45$ shipped. Some folks wanted two long handle and a short handle as in the last picture which is 55$ shipped. Not trying to make any money just wanting to give back to the forum members. Thanks

Smile Hmmmmmm....Knife handles are an interesting twist.

I like it. Not something I see everyday. (not any day, really)

Can I get a set with Baroque Sterling Silver handles?

I want them to match my Silver service I inherited from my Great Aunt Pearl.

J/K

I might take a set, even with the stainless butter knife handles. Do you take MasterCard?

Thanks for the interest. I can do Paypal, money order, good personal check, cash, I can not do credit cards. PM me your address, what you wouold like, and how you would like to pay and I will get them ready to ship out on Tuesday. I can do any handles that are weldable but if your spouse catches you sending out the good silver it may cause issues. When you get these take them in the house and say , "hey honey look what I made" and see if she tries to reclaim the butter knives. Thanks
