steering issue

soo...i recently replaced the ball joints and tie rods and ends on my 83 300sd....upon reassembly/alignment was complete, the power steering is not working correctly. i can turn the wheel at any condition/position to the left and every works correctly, at any condition/postition a right turn has little to zero power steering assist. debris? steering dampner?
